Welcome to my map page. The following links are for PDF maps. If you need a PDF viewer you can get one here.

Adobe Acrobat

The purpose of this page is to distribute specific maps for specific trips to specific people. I hate getting huge email attachments. This way participants can download maps at their leisure. The maps are set up for different page sizes. I prefer 11 x 17 maps, but since not everyone has access to a large format printer I will usually include maps formatted for 8 x 11 maps. Even if you cannot print large format maps they can be viewed Adobe's scroll and zoom features. I usually print my maps in black and white and the readability is great. Printing in color uses a lot of ink and does not really enhance navigation.

The maps were created by MapTech's Terrain Navigator v5.03, Delorme Street Atlas 2003 or Microsoft Trips & Streets 2002. These maps are for personal use and not for publication. I can include GPS coordinates for any point on the map. I prefer to use NAD 27, UTM format for the topo maps. If you are not familiar with map datum settings on your GPS, consult your user guide or manufacturer's web site. The topo maps are electronic copies of USGS quad maps. The University of Arkansas at Monticello has copies of all Arkansas quad maps and they are free. You will need to download the free map viewer also. Spatial Analysis Lab
